Key Players

Galway United have had a Moses Dyer shaped hole for months, The Tribesmen failed to replace him last summer which led to they’re goalscoring problems in the backend of the 2025 season. Frantz Pierrot could very well be the answer to these problems. The last time he faced Sligo Rovers, he bagged a brace in a 7-0 Drogheda win.

Daire Patton has been the breakthrough Sligo Rovers player in the early parts of the season, the 18 year olds performances have garnered a lot of praise. A strong performance on derby day would truly establish himself in the side and as a fan favourite.
