New man for Bohs

Bohemians announced this morning that they’ve appointed Alan Reynolds as men’s first team manager.

The 49 year old will take his first training session tomorrow and will take charge of the team for the first time Aganist Rivals Shamrock Rovers. Reynolds will be looking to hit the ground running and convince some of the fans that aren’t convinced on him yet. Reynolds joins Bohs from Waterford. He was Ex Bohs man Keith Long’s assistant there and he was Jim Crawford’s assistant with the Irish u21 squad. Reynolds has had experience in the league of Ireland being assistant manager of Derry, St Patrick’s Athletic and also Cork City. The Waterford native has been involved in the 21s system for the past 4 years now. Which will benefit Bohs Who already have a good youth system producing some fantastic players. Hopefully it continues when Reynolds comes in.

For me Reynolds is a good appointment. When the names got rumoured like most bohs fans Reynolds was the most realistic out of them all. Some bohs fans would disagree with me on this one but i think it’s a fresh start, we have an experienced manager coming in who knows the league like the back of his hand. Whatever anyone thinks about him we all have to back him. He needs to bring this club back to where it belongs. Hopefully he can have a positive start and give the fans, players, staff that spark that needs to happen at Dalymount.

Thanks for reading my thoughts on the new appointment. Wish Alan the best of luck.

As always UTB!
