The Munster Senior Cup Last 16 and Quarter-Finals draw took place in Turners Cross this afternoon on behalf of the Munster Football Association.
The Competition has existed since 1922 and amalgamates Munster Senior League sides with the League of Ireland teams from Munster. Cobh Ramblers are the current holders after the side beat Rockmount 2-0 in the 2025 edition of the final. Cork City FC historically hold the most titles in the Competition. Recently relegated Cork City will travel to East Cork to face Midelton. The winners of this tie will face off against the winners of Treaty United’s clash with Caoimhin Kelleher’s boyhood side, Ringmahon Rangers. Colin Healy’s Kerry will face Cobh Wanderers while Premier Division side Waterford face off against Riverstown. Cobh Ramblers face Leeside United. New signings and youth-players from the League of Ireland clubs competing may get game time in this competition. Kerry in particular have bolstered their squad in the current transfer season. Fixtures are scheduled for the weekend of the 16/17th of January 2026. The Quarter Finals will take place on the weekend of the 31st January/1st of February.
