Cork City had to come from behind tonight as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Finn Harps in Ballyboffey tonight.
Harps took the lead through Success Edogun in the first half as he pounced on a mix up in the Cork City defence.
City responded well to the setback and had a few shots on goal but couldn’t make the breakthrough before half time.
It was in the 68th minute when Cork got their biggest chance of the game to level things up. Ball was in the box and The Finn Harps player fell and landed on the ball giving the referee no doubt in pointing to the spot.
Up stepped Jack Doherty and he levelled the game and thats how it ended.
