All You Need To Know: Derry O’Mahony Charity Match

This Saturday August 9th, LOITalk is delighted to be holding the Derry O’Mahony Charity Match in aid of the Irish Cancer Society and ASIAM Ireland at St.Colmans Park home of League of Ireland side Cobh Ramblers with kick off at 7:30 PM

Who Is The Game Being Held For:

Derry O’Mahony was a father of 2 who got diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 16. Having overcome it over the following years unfortunately at the age of 32 Derry was diagnosed with it once again. Derry lived with leukemia for 4 years aswell as doing chemotherapy and at age 36 he unfortunately passed away. Derry will always be known as a great father to his two kids Peter & Maeve and an amazing husband to his wife Gillian.

Who Is Playing In This Charity Match

The game on Saturday will be between LOITalk FC consisting of members of writers from our own team here at LOITalk FC aswell as the LOI All Stars consisting of League Of Ireland content creators across all social media platforms.
