Premier League side Crystal Palace will make the trip to Dublin to take on league champions Shelbourne in the UEFA Conference League league phase as they and Shamrock Rovers discovered their path to European glory.

With their 0-0 draw against Santa Clara at Tallaght Stadium last night, it ensured Shamrock Rovers would be in todays draw with a 2-1 aggregate victory over the Portugese side. And thanks to their brilliant performances in previous European competitions in recent years it earned them a pot 2 seeding for the draw.
The champions elect for this season in the League Of Ireland will take on Shakhtar Donetsk from Ukraine, Spartha Praha from the Czech Republic,NK Celje of Slovenia, AEK Athens of Greece, Hamrun Spartans of Malta and Breidablik from Iceland.
Shelbourne
It was a night to remember in Belfast for Shelbourne last night as thanks to goals from Harry Wood and Ali Coote guided them to a 2-0 victory on the night and a 5-1 win on aggregate over Northern Ireland side Linfield.
The fixture that catches the eye straight away is the fixture against Premier League side Crystal Palace at home.
Shelbourne will also face Az Alkmaar of Netherlands, NK Celje of Slovenia, Drita of Kosova, Shkendija of North Macedonia and Hacken of Sweeden.
Overall I think Shamrock Rovers and Shelbourne can be fairly happy with their respective fixtures and will fancy their chances of qualifying for the next stages of the competition.
The league phase will run from 2 October until 18 December.
