Devine Relieved of His Duties as Fenlon Steps IN

Big news coming out of Dalymount as Declan Devine has been sacked by Bohemians after nearly 2 years in the job.

Devine Has had 2 full seasons in Dalymount finishing 6th 2 seasons in a row and didn’t meet the expectations people expected him too. Even though Devine Got Bohemians to the FAI Cup Final but lost out to Jon Dalys St Patrick’s Atheltic 3-1 and a lot of people were calling for Devine to be sacked straight after the final, but bohs stuck with the Devine and trusted him as manager going into this season also but Bohs have not had a flattering start to the season to say the least.

Bohemians have announced they have put Director of Football Pat Fenlon For his second spell at the club, Fenlon guided bohs to their second Double in a decade. This is the wrong appointment for me as I think Fenlon should of gone with Devine as the recruitment has not been near good enough this year! But obviously I hope he proves me wrong and hopefully he brings the spark back to Dalymount!

Let’s talk new manager: Bohs need to get this appointment right this time and not bring someone in who won’t progress this club and this team!

There’s talks of Stephen Kenny to come back to the gypsies but  doubts of financial terms of course, If Bohs appoint Stephen Kenny it will be a very big statement for Bohs and the League of Ireland!

Wish Devine the best of luck in his new Job wherever he goes!

Gave a lot to this club with some good and bad memories and you could see he really tried but just didn’t click!

Thanks for reading.
