Shelbourne 2-0 Bohemians (Bohemians POV)

A disappointing night in D7 for bohemians as Damien Duffs Shelbourne take the 3 points back to Drumcondra.

The game started and it was always gonna be an intensive game with tackles flying in and a chance came early on for Shels as Paddy Barrett tries to lift it over Chorazka from about 40 yards, But The bohs man tips it over.

On the 15th minute mark the Hull City Will Jarvis loanee picks up the ball and starts to run at the Bohs midfield and gets past 2 or 3 of the bohs men and lays it to Ex Bohs man Liam burt Who fires his shot wide.

A boring half of football as not many chances were created and both teams trying not to give too much away or leave themselves in a position we’re there going to be caught out.

2nd half starts and Devine goes to the bench to bring on Martin Miller for Ex Shels Man Brian McManus who picked up a yellow card earlier on in the first half,Damien Duff also goes to the bench and brings on Evan Caffery for Ex Bohs man John o Sullivan.

Bohs started the second half brightly as Martin Miller is combining with Dylan Connolly down the right and it falls to James Clarke on the edge of the Shelbourne box and he plays in Paddy Kirk but Conor Kearns is equal to the shot.

On the 57th minute Tyreke Wilson whips a ball in and John Martin gets infront of his man to try and flick his header goalwards but causes no problems for Chorazka.

62 minutes gone on the clock and Duff goes back to his bench to bring on target man Sean Boyd as he replaces John Martin.

75th minute and Devine makes a double substitution with Filip piszcek and Dayle Rooney off and Sten Reinkort and Danny Grant replacing them.

Sean Boyd picks up the ball on the 80th minute he gets the ball on the  left and is scrambling to get it out of his feet, eventually landing with Liam burt who picks up the ball and hits a shot that deflects in behind the bohs defence and Sean Boyd using his experience gets in behind and follows in the shot and he gets a slight touch just before the Bohs youngster Cian Byrne who brings him down in the box, for me it was very soft.

Will Jarvis steps up and slots the peno into the bottom left corner and sends Chorazka the wrong way. I felt if Chorazka went the right way he saves the peno as it wasn’t a good connection from Jarvis.

84 minutes on the clock and again Tyreke Wilson whips in another free kick and this time Gavin Molloy rises highest and wins his header that goes by Chorazka and that’s 2-0 to Shelbourne.

Paul McLaughlin blows his whistle for Full Time as Shels pick up the points.

My Man of the match goes to Gavin Molloy, solid at the back and getting the second goal to secure the 3 points for shels.

Devine has to go. Less said the better

Bohs face Derry in Dalymount next week looking to hit some sort of form.
