Forrester Saves Pats In Late 1-0 Win

That man again. Chris Forrester has saved Pats once again. Forrester grabbed a late winner to send Inchicore into a frenzy as they beat Kalju 1-0.

The Game

Overall Pats dominated with 59% possession and 23 shots compared to Kalju’s 1 shot. The game fell into Pats’ hands after Rommi Siht and Danyl Mashchenko received red cards both for constant fouls. The main difference was Kenny’s late substitutions of Aiden Keena, Brandon Kavanagh, Chris Forrester and Conor Carty as they brought a spark of life to a deflated Pats team who just could not find the back of the net.

The 2nd Leg

I would not be shocked if Pats go to Estonia and put 2 or 3 past Kalju based on how both teams played tonight. If Kenny starts Keena and Forrester, we can expect a big result for Pats, in my opinion. Who will go on to face the loser of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Besiktas or Arda Turan’s Shakhtar Donetsk, which ended 4-2 Shakhtar earlier tonight in their first leg.

Conclusion

Very dominant display by Pats but struggling for goals may come back to bite them in the latter rounds. A big result in Estonia next week will be a big confidence boost!
