St Pats breeze past FC Hegelmann with a 2-0 win on the night (3-0 aggregate). A dominant team display with good press from the frontline shows us why Pats can be dangerous when in form.
The Match
Pats got off to a quick start with 17 year old Mason Melia scorning a strikers goal in the 6th minute after a shot by Jason McClelland was saved and Melia was there to tap it in. Overall Hegelmann did not show enough to get the job done as Kian Leavy played one of his better games in saints colours as he got the second goal with a rocket into the top corner in the 56th minute. Overall a very strong display by the saints who are close to full strength teams with the only absentee was Roman Palmer, still out with a hamstring injury.

Who’s Next?
Next up, Pats make the trip to Estonia to play Nomme JK Kalju in what should be a win, in my opinion. Kalju beat Partizani AET with a 1-0 win on the night (2-1 aggregate). So all things considered I believe it should be a win for the saints.
The games are being played on the 24th of August in Inchicore and the 31st of July in Estonia.
