Shamrock Rovers host bitter rivals Bohemians at Tallaght Stadium, with a victory potentially confirming Rovers’ 22nd league title.
Stephen Bradley’s side are coming off a Monday night victory away to Waterford. Many would argue that Matt Healy and Josh Honohan have been Shamrock Rovers standout players this season, and both were on the scoresheet.
Bohemians weren’t in action on Monday, having the luxury of sitting back and watching their rivals for European places drop points. With five games to play, they sit second on 50 points.
In the three derbies already played this season, Bohs have come out on top on all three occasions. A first Shamrock Rovers derby victory of 2025 could potentially crown them champions, provided Drogheda United beat Derry City.

Players to Watch
Matt Healy has arguably been the best player in the league in 2025. He has averaged an incredible 94.6 touches per game this season, proving he is the focal point of this Shamrock Rovers team. With the continued growth in the quality of the league and the ongoing struggles of the Irish national team, Healy’s performances have at the minimum warranted consideration for national team selection.
Dawson Devoy returned to the Bohemians team last week, and Bohs returned to winning ways. Healy may be the focal point of Shamrock Rovers, but Devoy is the catalyst for Bohemians. They are unrecognisable without him.
