Statement: Treaty United CEO

Ciara McCormack engaged in less than professional conduct when interacting with LOI Talk.

In light of recent events, we felt it would be appropriate to make this statement on the matter.

Earlier on in the year, we gave Ciara McCormick a platform to voice her optimism for the upcoming season and let out a plea for fans to get behind the team for the year ahead. In hindsight, this was a ploy to use our platform for her gain.

Ciara made a statement yesterday on LinkedIn where she wrote comments about her distaste of a fan group within the club, The Blue Army. You can read an article discussing this Ad-Hoc statement below:

After posting this article, we reached out to Ciara for a comment on the matter and a response to a statement made by the Blue Army. After this, LOI Talk discovered that she not only blocked multiple fans on X, but had also blocked LOI Talk on X. We think that this is the height of unprofessionalism, especially taking into account the previous opportunity we provided her.

Ciara McCormack blocking LOI Talk on X

Ciara McCormick used LOI Talk to portray herself in a positive light in a time of doubt about her leadership, and then once the platform which highlights fan’s views chooses to highlight a fan’s views, she ignorantly blocks us on social media.

This behavior is not only unprofessional but also indicative of a broader disregard for open dialogue and accountability. Blocking fans and independent platforms like LOI Talk only reinforces concerns about her leadership and her respect for the Treaty United community.
